The Movement Project Dance Center Company

Students who wish to experience a more advanced level of dance training with competitive dance opportunities, as well as the chance to perform at community functions and charity events, are encouraged to audition for MPDC's company team. These dancers have competed at the regional and national level traveling locally in Michigan and out of state to competitions throughout the United States.

 

 

 Company is a program built for the dancer who truly wishes to be challenged and take their dancing to the next level! Dancers will compete at 3 local regional competitions each year, with convention and master class opportunities throughout the season.  Dancers will also travel to nationals at the end of June beginning of July each season.

 

 

 

Our Company dancers are well represented at other dance venues as well.  Many are members of their high school JV and Varsity dance teams.  We have also had many of our alumni continue on with dance in college and are members of their college dance team or dance program at their school.  We also have dancers who have received scholarships to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Interlochen Center for the Arts and have completed many grades in ceccchetti ballet as well.
